The latest game remaster “Batman: Return to Arkham” has officially been delayed indefinitely. With an original release date of July 26, 2016. Steve Grayson, a WB Games representative stated on the official forums, “After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuos Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience.”
Gamers have been comparing the original Batman Arkham games to the most recent trailer for Return to Arkham and impressions have been mixed with some gamers feeling it looks more like a port rather than a remaster.
Grayson continues saying, “We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready.”
This is disappointing news for Batman fans, but hopefully the delay will be worth the wait.
Batman: Return to Arkham is a collection featuring the original Arkham Asylum and Arkham City with all released DLC, improved graphics and updated character models.
